Today started with a small sleep in and then we headed out to the British Museum, to see pilfered things.
We explored Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and had a great chat with a worker there about coins. We saw, and held, a genuine coin from the time of Alexander the Great and a piece of eight. Facinating. Well, I found it fascinating. Others may not.

From the museum we moved on to Tower Bridge. We climbed over 200 stairs (they very kindly gave us signs with how many stairs there were) to get to the top walkways.

There are glass panels in some of the walkway (yep, the walkways are the blue bits at the top). We also got to see the bridge go up to let a boat go through.
Once we had explored the bridge we headed back to our hotel to get changed for our evening outing, to see The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre. I have wanted to see this for a very long time but have never had the chance to get there. I am so happy I got to see it in London. It was amazing. Jacob wasn’t quite as taken with it but he did enjoy himself.

And as a thank you to him we did get a weird bike/taxi/tuk tuk ride home. Well, we did get to see Big Ben at night.

More adventures for tomorrow. For now, it’s time for bed.
